Some of the causes of hair loss are beyond our control and genetic baldness is the chief among them.


Also, baldness is caused by hormones (android alopecia), which is common in men and rare in women.


Majority of women experience hair loss after childbirth due to hormonal imbalance. Hair loss in women can also be due to thyroid or natural hormonal changes.


Hair loss can also be caused by certain medications or treatment of a disease. The most common of these is the use of chemotherapy and radiotherapy during cancer treatment.


Immune deficiency can also cause hair loss and can only be controlled with regular treatment.


Certain fungal infections, or problems such as itchy dandruff, can also cause hair loss. If you have been suffering from health problems and mental stress, you may also experience hair loss, but after a few days of getting rid of these problems, the hair loss will reduce.

Preventing hair fall is not easy anyway. First of all, the exact cause of hair fall should be found and treated accordingly.


Tests should be done for thyroid or anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency, or autoimmune (diseases caused by a weakened immune system).


Hair transplantation or injectable platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a sometimes painful and expensive treatment that is out of reach for the general public.

Experts suggest taking some measures for better hair growth and protection

  • Massage the scalp with warm coconut oil at least twice a week and then wash your head.

  • Do not change shampoo frequently.

  • Do not use hair dryer every time to dry hair.

  • It is better to cover the head when going out in dust and mud so that the hair does not dry out.

  • Do not leave the hair loose (open) all the time and do not tie it tightly with a pony but it is better to keep it properly knotted.

  • Frequent hair styling, constant use of gels or sprays for temporary beauty can also lead to hair loss.



Dark, long and thick hair is considered a symbol of beauty, but if your hair does not meet this standard, instead of worrying about it, be happy with what you have because even those with long and thick hair may not have time to take care of it. But they are cutting their hair short.
